Fashion Sutra AI ("we", "our", or "us") is an AI-powered fashion design application developed and operated as an independent product. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and what rights you have over it. By using the Fashion Sutra AI application ("App"), you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
Account Information
- Email address — used for account creation, login, and transaction receipts
- Phone number — collected at payment time for payment gateway processing
- Display name — optional, used on your profile
- Profile photo — if you sign in with Google, your Google profile photo may be displayed
User-Generated Content
- Photos you upload to the Wardrobe feature (stored in Firebase Cloud Storage)
- AI-generated fashion images created through your prompts
- AI-generated videos created from your images
- Text prompts you enter for image and video generation
- Saved designs and creation history
Payment & Transaction Data
- Transaction ID and order reference (for support and dispute resolution)
- Plan purchased and amount paid
- Credit balance and purchase history
- We do NOT store payment card numbers, CVV, or banking credentials. All card data is processed exclusively by Cashfree Payments (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified).
Technical & Usage Data
- Device type, model, and operating system version
- App version and crash reports (anonymous, for debugging)
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token for push notifications
- App usage patterns collected via Firebase Analytics (anonymous)
- Firebase App Check attestation tokens (for security)
Voice Data
- If you use voice input on the home screen, speech is processed locally by the device's on-device speech recognition engine. Audio is not transmitted to our servers or stored.

The App requests the following Android permissions. All permissions are only used for the stated purpose.

CAMERA
Used when you choose to photograph a garment directly for your wardrobe. The app cannot access your camera without your explicit action. Photos are not captured in the background.

Used when you choose to upload an existing photo from your gallery to your wardrobe. Access is limited to photos you explicitly select.

RECORD_AUDIO
Used for the voice input feature on the home screen (speak your style prompt). Audio is processed on-device using Android's SpeechRecognizer. We do not record, store, or transmit audio data.

Required for all core features — AI image generation, Firebase sync, payments, and push notifications require network connectivity.

POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13+)
Required to receive push notifications (low credits alerts, new features, offers). You will be asked for permission before any notification is sent. You can disable this in Notification Settings in the app or in Android Settings at any time.
We use the following third-party services to operate the App. Each service processes certain data according to its own privacy policy.
Google Firebase (Google LLC)
We use Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Storage, Firebase App Check, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Cloud Messaging. Your account data, uploaded images, and generated designs are stored on Firebase servers. Firebase Analytics collects anonymous usage data. Google processes data in accordance with its cloud services terms.

Replicate Inc.
All AI image and video generation is powered by Replicate's hosted AI models (Flux Schnell, Flux 2 Pro, PixVerse v6, IDM-VTON, Rembg). When you generate an image or video, your text prompt and any uploaded garment photos are sent to Replicate's servers for processing. Replicate may retain predictions according to its data retention policy.

Anthropic PBC (Claude AI)
Wardrobe item analysis is powered by Anthropic's Claude Vision API. When you add a garment to your wardrobe, the garment image is sent to Anthropic's API to identify garment type, colour, pattern, and occasion. Anthropic processes this data in accordance with its API usage policy.

Cashfree Payments India Pvt. Ltd.
All in-app payments for credit packs are processed by Cashfree, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway licensed by RBI. When you make a purchase, your name, email, and phone number are shared with Cashfree to create a payment order. Cashfree processes and stores payment card data — we never access or store your card details.

- All user data is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Firebase Storage), hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure in the Asia region.
- Data in transit between the App and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.2 / 1.3 (HTTPS).
- Firebase Storage objects (uploaded photos, generated images) are access-controlled: only you can read or write your own files.
- Firestore security rules ensure each user can only access their own documents.
- Firebase App Check (Play Integrity) prevents unauthorised clients from calling our APIs.
- Payment card data is processed by Cashfree in a PCI-DSS compliant environment. We never receive, store, or log raw card numbers.
- API credentials (Replicate, Cashfree, Anthropic) are compiled into the app at build time using environment variables and are never stored in source code or a public repository.

How to delete your account and data:
Go to the App → Profile → Sign Out → contact us at
fashionsutra.ai@gmail.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request". We will permanently delete your account and all associated data (except legally required transaction records) within 30 days.
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) and applicable Indian law, you have the following rights:
Right to Access
Request a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to Correction
Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
Right to Erasure
Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention obligations).
Right to Grievance
Lodge a complaint with us if you believe your data has been mishandled.
Right to Nominate
Nominate another individual to exercise rights on your behalf in case of death or incapacity.
Right to Withdraw Consent
Withdraw consent for non-essential processing (e.g. marketing notifications) at any time.

Fashion Sutra AI is not directed at children under the age of 13 years. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately at fashionsutra.ai@gmail.com and we will delete the data within 14 days.
The App contains AI-generated fashion content that is designed for users aged 13 and above. No adult, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content is generated by the App.
With your permission (granted when the App first requests it), we may send you push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). You can control which notifications you receive in the App:
- New AI Styles & Features — notifications about new models and app features
- Low Credits Alert — automatic notification when your credits drop below 5
- Promotional Offers — discounts, limited-time deals
- Daily Style Inspiration — daily Look of the Day notification
To stop all notifications: App → Profile → Notification Settings → disable all toggles. Or go to Android Settings → Apps → Fashion Sutra AI → Notifications → turn off.
Your FCM token (a device identifier used to route push notifications) is stored in your Firestore user document and is deleted when your account is deleted.
Fashion Sutra AI is based in India. However, some of our third-party service providers (Google Firebase, Replicate, Anthropic) process data on servers outside India. By using the App, you consent to your data being transferred to and processed in these jurisdictions. We ensure such transfers occur under appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses and data processing agreements with each service provider.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
- Send a push notification to the App (if you have notifications enabled)
- Display an in-app notice on your next login
Continued use of the App after the updated policy takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. If you do not agree to the updated policy, you should discontinue use of the App.
This Privacy Policy and any disputes arising from it are governed by the laws of India, including:
- The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA)
- The Information Technology Act, 2000
- The Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011
- The Consumer Protection Act, 2019
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
